Generally, you can visit and browse our website without entering any kind of personal information. Your personal data is collected directly from you when you register to get a user account at our site. The personal information we include is reduced to the minimum information required for us to provide a service or carry out a transaction you have requested. Your personal data entered in your user profile are not displayed anywhere on the website, with the exception of your name and comments if you decide to write short reviews for the “Stories from the Field” blog.

E-commerce transactions

We do not collect credit card details for your payments. When you confirm your order in our shop, you proceed to PayPal’s secure website where you can pay directly from your PayPal account, or if you choose to use a credit card, those details are collected by PayPal and not provided to us. Open Adit West, L.L.C. will never ask your credit card information by any means. Furthermore, we will never ask you for any account detail, especially your password.
