Barite on Fluorite, Annabel Lee Mine, Illinois

Deep to light purple zoned fluorite cubes are host to a grouping of off-white barite crystals making for wonderful contrast. The locality for the piece is the Annabel Lee Mine, Cave-in-Rock, Illinois. The overall dimensions are 6.5 cm wide by 7.5 cm tall and 6.2 cm front to back. A few very small nicks are present to the fluorite and the back is contacted. The base has been cut so the piece will display better
