Epidote with Quartz, Prince of Wales Island, Alaska

Lustrous, deep-forest green colored epidote crystals are set aesthetically with a scattering of contrasting, colorless quartz crystals. Several of the epidote crystals are doubly-terminated. This piece is from Green Monster Mountain, Prince of Wales Island, Ketchikan District, Alaska. The overall dimensions are 6.4 cm wide by 5.8 cm tall and 4.8 cm front to back, with the largest individual Epidote on the specimen measuring 5.3 cm long by 1.8 cm wide. A few crystals have minor damage.
