Elbaite Tourmaline Crystals on Quartz, Nuristan, Afghanistan

These elbaite crystals are green with a pink core at one end and green near the termination growing alongside a quartz crystal. The overall dimensions of the piece are 4.2 cm wide by 3.6 cm tall and 3.4 cm front to back. The locality is Paprok Mine, Kamdesh District, Nuristan Province, Afghanistan.
