Amethyst Crystals on Matrix, Veracruz, Mexico (SOLD)

This is a highly lustrous and aesthetic “burst” of light purple colored amethyst on contrasting host matrix. This amethyst is from the famous locality of Cerro de la Concordia, Piedra Parada, Veracruz, Mexico. This piece measures overall 25 cm wide by 13 tall and 5 cm front to back and weighs 2.5 lb. There is little damage to this piece except a couple nicks to crystal tips.
